There is plenty to see and do whilst you are in Trearddur Bay. Visit South Stack lighthouse and watch guillemots, peregrines and puffins from the RSPB vistor centre, Ellin's Tower. You may catch sight of a dolphin or seal too. Walk up Holyhead Mountain (220m) and see the stone hut circles, evidence of prehistoric settlement. It's a wonderful place to watch the sun go down.

At Holyhead, just five minutes drive away, you can visit the 14th Century St Cybi's Church, the Maritime Museum, see the harbour and take a walk round the Breakwater Country Park. From the port you can take a day-return to Dublin, only 90 minutes on one of the fast ferries.

On a rainy day, take the family to the Anglesey Sea Zoo or to see the butterflies at Pili Palas, or visit the Empire Cinema at Holyhead, or treat yourself at the Tre-Ysgawen Spa.

There are great opportunities for walking, climbing, riding, golfing, carting, diving and fishing across the island, as well as historical and cultural places of interest. Have a look at the websites below:
